Weekly Friday Art Walks

The Belfast Gallery Walk summer season is in full swing! The next Gallery Walk will be on Friday, September 3rd from 5-8PM. Along with a chance to visit galleries and studios, activities include live performances on the streets by local dancers, musicians, poets, and actors.
Many locations will be hosting openings and receptions. Galerie Dufour will be celebrating its seventh anniversary with the opening of “A Room with a View,” works by award winning Maine photographer, Charles Dufour. Participating galleries and studios are: First Light Gallery, Roots & Tendrils, and Beyond the Sea, Waterfall Arts, Aarhus Gallery, Off the Beaten Path Gallery, Daniel Anselmi at 75 Main Street Studio, High Street Studio and Gallery, Brambles, Art Alliance Gallery, Belfast Co-op Café Gallery, Image Box Photos, Parent Gallery, Ben Hall at 960 Studio, Betts Gallery at the Belfast Framer, Dina Petrillo at The Post Office Studio Workshop, Susan Cooney Fine Art Studio, and Maine Farmland Trust.
Performers for the 3rd will include; poet Dave Morrison with drummer Jeffrey Densmore, and live music by David Dodson.
The 2010 Gallery Walk Map can be found in many locations around town or by visiting www.artsbelfast.com. Belfast Gallery Walks are on the first Friday of the month from June to December and every Friday night in July and August.
